How do we pack?
Packaging a delicate product requires special attention to ensure it reaches its destination in perfect condition.:
1. Packaging materials:
- We use strong corrugated cardboard boxes or rigid boxes, depending on the size and fragility of the product.
- Protective filling: bubble wrap, polyethylene foam, spray foam, kraft paper, shaped foam, etc.
2. Tags and bookmarks:
- "Fragile" and "Handle with Care" labels clearly visible on the outside of the box.
- Permanent markers to mark the box with special instructions.
3. Product preparation:
- We clean and ensure that the product is in perfect condition before packaging it.
- If necessary, fragile parts are disassembled and individually wrapped.
4. Padding and Protection:
- Wrap the product with bubble wrap or polyethylene foam, making sure to cover all sensitive areas.
- If there are loose parts, we will put them in plastic bags and then into the main package.
- We use cardboard or additional foam plates to separate the product from the walls of the box.
5. Placement in the box:
- We place the product in the center of the box, leaving a space between the product and the walls of the box.
- We fill the empty spaces with more filling material to prevent the product from moving during transport.
6. Closing and sealing:
- We close the box and secure with strong adhesive tape.
- Corners and opening areas are reinforced with additional tape.
7. Documentation:
- Include a note or special handling instructions inside the box, if necessary.
8. Exterior of the box:
- We ensure that address labels are clear and legible.
- The box is marked with arrows to indicate the correct position "up" and "down" if relevant to the product.
Remember that additional protection in the packaging will help minimize the risk of damage during transport. It is always advisable to consult with us if your piece requires a wooden fence.
